"At the end of his colorful life, Roy awaits the inevitable, supported only by his last remaining faithful servant, Lisette. He is visited by the most important figures of his time demanding a reckoning for deeds good, bad and ugly. With bedfellows including, Julius Rosenberg, Ronald Reagan, Barbara Walters, Roy's lover Serge, his mother Dora, and his youthful self, Roy is catapulted into a wacky and surreal wonderland, where his muddled reality ultimately becomes clear." Iphigenia in Aulis (Off-Broadway at Classic Stage Company) Iphigenia in Aulis, originally written by Euripides and translated by Anne Washburn, features original music by The Bengsons. The show is described as such: "King Agamemnon and his thousand ships are stranded on the island of Aulis waiting for a wind to bring them to the shores of Troy. Love and Money (Off-Broadway at The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre) Love and Money, a comedy by A.R. Gurney, is directed by Mark Lamos. The show is described as such: "Wealthy widow Cornelia Cunningham has led a life of grace and privilege, and she's making up for it as fast as she can. Determined to donate almost everything she owns before the end, Cornelia's plans are questioned when an ambitious and ingratiating young man, who may be the grandson she never knew she had, arrives to claim his inheritance.
