The show is described as "a quarter-life coming-of-age story" about Jordan Berman, who would "love to be in love, but that's easier said than done. So until he meets Mr. Right, he wards off lonely nights with his trio of close-knit girlfriends. Colin Quinn – The New York Story (Off-Broadway at the Cherry Lane Theatre), written by Colin Quinn and directed by Jerry Seinfeld, stars Quinn. According to production notes, "Colin bemoans the rise and fall of his hometown, the city formally known as New York from its modest beginnings as Dutch outpost to the hipsters of modern Williamsburg to the vermin below and above ground."
