To the Bone (Off-Broadway at the Cherry Lane Theatre). The world premiere of Lisa Ramirez's politically charged drama To The Bone includes Dan Domingues, Lisa Ramirez, Annie Henk, Liza Fernandez, Paola Lazaro-Munoz, Xochitl Romero, Gerardo Rodriguez and Haynes Thigpen. "A contemporary American drama, To The Bone is about Latina immigrant poultry workers in the U.S. and in the spirit of John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men gives audiences a look inside the lives of the invisible work force that puts food on our tables," press notes state. Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill (Broadway at the Circle in the Square Theatre). The Broadway hit Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill stars six-time Tony Award-winning actress Audra McDonald and is directed by Tony Award nominee Lonny Price. According to producers, "Lady Day at Emerson's Bar & Grill recounts Holiday's life story through the songs that made her famous. 1959, in a small, intimate bar in Philadelphia, Holiday puts on a show that unbeknownst to the audience, will leave them witnesses to one of the last performances of her lifetime. The Wayside Motor Inn (Off-Broadway at The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center). Marc Kudisch and Lizbeth MacKay star in The Wayside Motor Inn, the drama by prolific playwright A.R. Gurney. The cast also includes Kelly AuCoin, Jon DeVries, Quincy Dunn-Baker, Rebecca Henderson, Jenn Lyon, David McElwee, Ismenia Mendes and Will Pullen. "Outside Boston, ten people — some strangers, some not — struggle with the circumstances that have brought them to the Wayside Motor Inn," press notes state. "With old grudges and new feuds threatening the travelers' peace, this funny and moving work kicks off A. R. Gurney's Signature Residency by examining the tenuous space between loneliness and connection, and the fragile framework of the American Dream." Visit SignatureTheatre.org. Mighty Real: A Fabulous Sylvester Musical (Off-Broadway at the Theatre at St. Clements). Mighty Real: A Fabulous Sylvester Musical, written by Anthony Wayne, stars Wayne as 1970s disco singer Sylvester alongside Anastacia McCleskey and Jacqueline B. Arnold as The Two Tons of Fun/Weather Girls. Mighty Real: A Fabulous Sylvester Musical, according to press notes, "tells the life story of the 'Queen of Disco,' Sylvester, through his music and his point of view. Beyond all the trials and tribulations of his life – and the glitz and glamour of his lifestyle -- Sylvester was not only a symbol for being Fabulous, but also a pioneer in the LGBTQ community for showing, unapologetically, you have to be true to who you are. , A Sucker Emcee is directed by Jenny Koons
 and features music by Rich Medina. "Infused with hip-hop, slam poetry and personal recollections, this one-man show charts the ups and downs of muMs' incredible journey, from growing up in the Bronx to starring on one of HBO's biggest shows," according to press notes.
