News Lady Gaga and Marlee Matlin Will Perform National Anthem at Super Bowl Marlee Matlin, who made her Broadway debut earlier this season in Deaf West Theatre's revival of Spring Awakening, will perform "The Star-Spangled Banner" in American Sign Language as it is sung by Lady Gaga prior to Super Bowl 50 Feb. 7.

Matlin, a hearing-impaired actress, won an Oscar as Best Actress for her performance in the 1986 film version of the Tony Award-winning play Children of a Lesser God.

Gaga, who recently won a Golden Globe Award for her work in the FX series "American Horror Story," is also scheduled to perform a tribute to the late David Bowie at the Feb. 15 Grammy Awards.

The Super Bowl is scheduled to kick off on CBS beginning at 6:30 PM ET.
