Klea Blackhurst, Jim Caruso, and Billy Stritch are set to return to Birdland Jazz Club for the 15th year of their holiday concert A Swinging Birdland Christmas. Performances will be held December 22-25.
The trio will perform swinging arrangements of holiday favorites including “The Christmas Waltz,” Kay Thompson’s “Holiday Season,” “Sleigh Ride,” and more, along with selections from Stephen Sondheim and Barry Manilow.
Steve Doyle will accompany the vocalists on the bass, with Daniel Glass on the drums. The deluxe edition of Blackhurst, Caruso, and Stritch's album Christmas at Birdland will also be available for purchase at the show.
There will be a $40-50 music charge and a $20 food and beverage minimum at the show.
