An industry reading of Ron Palillo’s The Lost Boy will be presented November 14 at 1 PM at Martian Entertainment, 165 West 46th Street in Manhattan.

Tony nominee Hunter Foster (Urinetown, Little Shop of Horrors) will direct a cast that includes Matt Doyle (Book of Mormon, War Horse), Jennifer Cody (Shrek, Urinetown), Elizabeth Morton (Death of a Salesman), James Lecesne (The Best Man) and Sheffield Chastain (Is He Dead?).

The Lost Boy, according to press notes, “tells the compelling story of a well-known author, who in the shadow of his own international writing success, confronts his haunted past, his brother's untimely death, a family that has scorned him, and his own dissatisfaction with the illusions of fame and fortune.”

Martian Entertainment are the general managers. Producers are Lawrence Leritz (Boobs! The Musical, Fiddler On The Roof) and Dominic Paolillo.

The play premiered in October 2005 at the Helen Hayes Theater Company in Nyack, NY.

Late playwright Palillo is best known for his work on the hit TV series Welcome Back Kotter.
