Hudson Valley Dance Festival makes its first return since 2019 with two performances October 8 at a 19th century warehouse on the banks of the Hudson River in Historic Catskill Point in Catskill, New York. Among the performances are dances from Dorrance Dance, Stephen Petronio Company, and Limón Dance Company, along with works from choreographers Abdul Latif, Jonathan Lee, Skyla Schreter, and Adam W. Weinert.

The event is produced by and supports Dancers Responding to AIDS, a program of Broadway Cares. Funds raised will go to meals, medication, and healthcare to those living with HIV/AIDS, COVID-19, and other debilitating illnesses.

Led by Founder and Artistic Director Michelle Dorrance, Dorrance Dance will perform a dynamic tap routine, while Stephen Petronio Company will present an excerpt from Bloom with music by Rufus Wainwright. Limón Dance Company will celebrate its 75th anniversary with a performance of Founder José Limón's work "Chaconne." 

Tickets include the option to add a cocktail reception and an exclusive dinner with the festival's dancers.

Hudson Valley Dance Festival was started in 2013, becoming an annual event for the Hudson Valley community. Over eight festivals, the event has raised more than $1 million. This year's entry is made possible by support from corporate sponsor The New York Times.
