Now playing London's West End, the work follows two perpetually single friends in the age of Tinder...and Bumble, and Grindr, and Hinge.

Why Am I So Single?, the new musical from Tony-winning SIX: The Musical creators Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, has released a new demo track for public consumption. The show, which previously released the upbeat demo "8 Dates" and ballad "Just In Case," has been going viral on social media for its relatable commentary on modern dating.

The title track, featuring stars Jo Foster and Leesa Tulley, is now available to stream on all digital platforms in addition to the above music video from the recording studio.

Running through February 13, 2025, the show follows two perpetually single friends who can't figure out why they're so single or what to write their next musical about. The musical, featuring a book, music, and lyrics by Marlow and Moss, previously had a workshop at the Lilian Baylis Studio Theatre at Sadler's Wells in London that featured Foster. Directed by Moss, Why Am I So Single? stars Foster, Tulley, and Noah Thomas alongside Jordan Cambridge-Taylor and Collette Guitart, along with an ensemble comprising Jemima Brown, Josh Butler, Natasha Leaver, Ran Marner, Jamel Matthias, Olivia O’Connor, Joshian Angelo Omaña, Natasha Wilde, and Rhys Wilkinson. Swings Callum Bell, Owen McHugh, Caitlin Redpath, and Ebony Clarke round out the company.

"This is ultimately a musical about two friends, their desire for love, and how they deal with loneliness," said Marlow and Moss in an earlier joint statement. "We hope people come away feeling super uplifted. And we hope they text someone the second they leave the theatre saying ‘omigosh just fyi i love you soooo much!!!!’"

The production features choreography by Ellen Kane; orchestrations, vocal arrangements, and music supervision by Joe Beighton; music production by Future Cut; set design by Moi Train; costume design by Max Johns; lighting design by Jai Morjaria; and sound design by Paul Gatehouse. Casting is by Harry Blumenau and Sarah-Jane Price of Harry Blumenau Casting.

Kenny Wax, George Stiles, and Ameena Hamid serve as producers.
