Times may be hard, but there is still joy to be found, even after a long week. Sit back, relax, and enjoy a moment of emotional release. Welcome to Playbill's Feel Good Friday feature.

We don't want to put too much pressure on a new baby, but we're pretty sure that one of the coolest kids on the planet was just born. How could the child not be? The parents are Emmy Raver-Lampman and Daveed Diggs.

The couple shared the birth announcement on each of their Instagram accounts, with Raver-Lampman writing in the caption:

"dear baby, you have forever changed us. our hearts are filled with a kind of love we never thought possible. we love you more than you will truly ever know. thank you for choosing us. now please…go the f*ck to sleep. love, mom and dad. ♥️"

Diggs added in the comments: "Shout out to @adammansbach for writing the realest children's book of all time." (Listen to Samuel L. Jackson's read the audio book version of Adam Mansbach's Go the F**k to Sleep for Audible.com here.)

The couple appeared together in the original cast of Hamilton, with Raver-Lampman in the ensemble and Diggs in his Tony-winning turn as Marquis de Lafayette and Thomas Jefferson. Since then, they've spent most of their time in film and television. Raver-Lampman is a regular cast member on Netflix's The Umbrella Academy, and Diggs will next be seen in the science fiction film In the Blink of an Eye on Hulu (no release date yet).

Congratulations to the whole happy little family!
