Industry News Entertainment Community Fund Raises $1.2 Million at 2023 Gala

The May 1 event honored Tyler Perry, Tom Kirdahy, and more.

The Entertainment Community Fund's 2023 gala, held May 1 at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square, raised $1.2 million to support its programs and services, aimed at supporting workers across the entertainment industry. The evening honored philanthropist Glorya Kaufman, Orion Pictures head Alana Mayo, Tony-winning producer Tom Kirdahy, and entertainment multi-hyphenate Tyler Perry.

On hand to celebrate were Fund Chair Brian Stokes Mitchell, Joshua Boone, Susan Stroman, Emma Seligman, Nathan Lane, Gaten Matarazzo, Arian Moayed, Robert Creighton, and more. The evening also featured performances from Some Like It Hot's Adrianna Hicks, Lil Buck, Solea Pfeiffer, and 2023 Tony nominee Colton Ryan. Watch highlights from the evening above.
