Kathy and Stella Solve a Murder!, a verifiable Edinburgh Festival Fringe hit with sold-out runs in 2022 and 2023, has released a four track EP of the songs from the show.

The musical centers on best friends Kathy and Stella, who host the least successful true crime podcast in Hull. When their favorite author is killed, they attempt solve the mystery—and turn their podcast into an international success.

Featuring material from the expanded 2023 version of the show (which was a Playbill Pick), you can now listen to "Kathy and Stella’s Murder Podcast," "Part of the Story," "If I Didn’t Have You (I Would Die)," and "The Approval of Strangers" on all streaming services.

Starring Bronté Barbé (Newsies) as Kathy, Rebekah Hinds (Oklahoma!) as Stella, Jodie Jacobs (Rock of Ages) as Felicia, TJ Lloyd (Guys and Dolls) as Justin, and Imelda Warren-Green (Doctor Who: Time Fracture) as Erica, the EP's release coincides with the press day for the production's newest run at HOME Manchester, where it will play through October 21.
