Broadway News Clarke Thorell Joins Broadway's My Fair Lady June 26 The Front Page actor steps into the role of Zoltan Karparthy, replacing Manu Narayan.

Clarke Thorell, whose Broadway credits include The Front Page, Annie, Hairspray, and Titanic, among others, joins the cast of the Lincoln Center Theater production of My Fair Lady on Broadway June 26. He steps into the role of Zoltan Karparthy, replacing Manu Narayan, who originated the role.

As previously reported, Narayan, who played his final performance June 24, departed the show to perform on Broadway in Gettin’ the Band Back Together.

The Broadway revival of Lerner and Loewe’s My Fair Lady, directed by Bartlett Sher, is the winner of the Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle, and Drama League Awards for Best Revival of a Musical. The production was nominated for 10 Tony Awards and won for Best Costume Design of a Musical.

Performances began March 15 in the Vivian Beaumont Theater ahead of an April 19 opening.

Thorell joins a cast led by Lauren Ambrose, Harry Hadden-Paton, Norbert Leo Butz, Diana Rigg, Allan Corduner, Jordan Donica, and Linda Mugleston.

The production’s ensemble features Cameron Adams, Shereen Ahmed, Kerstin Anderson, Heather Botts, Rebecca Eichenberger, SuEllen Estey, Christopher Faison, Steven Trumon Gray, Adam Grupper, Michael Halling, Joe Hart, Todd A. Horman, Sasha Hutchings, Kate Marilley, Liz McCartney, Justin Lee Miller, Rommel Pierre O’Choa, Keven Quillon, JoAnna Rhinehart, Tony Roach, Lance Roberts, Blair Ross, Christine Cornish Smith, Paul Slade Smith, Samantha Sturm, Matt Wall, Michael Williams, Minami Yusui, and Lee Zarrett.
