An invitation-only industry presentation of the new musical The Lost Boys will be offered February 23. The cast will be led by Caissie Levy (Frozen) as Lucy Emerson, Nathan Levy (Dear Evan Hansen) as Sam Emerson, and Lorna Courtney (& Juliet) as Star.
Tony winner Michael Arden is directing The Lost Boys, A New Musical, which has a book by David Hornsby (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia) and Chris Hoch, music and lyrics by The Rescues (Kyler England, AG, Gabriel Mann), with Tony nominee Ethan Popp (Tina, The Tina Turner Musical) serving as music supervisor. General management is by Bespoke Theatricals.

Based on the 1987 classic Warner Bros. film, with a story by James Jeremias and Janice Roberta Fischer, The Lost Boys will be produced by special arrangement with Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures. Mark Kaufman and Lauren Shuler Donner are serving as creative consultants for the project.
The 1987 American supernatural horror-comedy, directed by Joel Schumacher and produced by Richard Donner, follows two teenage brothers who move with their divorced mother to the fictional town of Santa Carla, California, only to discover that the town is a haven for vampires.
Using vampirism to explore the physical transformation, sexual
awakening, and identity experimentation inherent to a teenager's
coming-of-age, The Lost Boys inspired a number of subsequent youth culture vampire projects, including Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Vampire Diaries, and Twilight.
The supernatural horror-comedy film has developed a dedicated fan base in the years since its release, which helped to launch the careers of Kiefer Sutherland, Jason Patric, Corey Feldman, Corey Haim, and more. The original film won the award for Best Horror Film by the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films, and spawned a franchise that included two sequels and two comic book series.
The new musical marks the first collaboration of Broadway and film actors James Carpinello, Marcus Chait, and Patrick Wilson as producers.
