The May 21 concert was originally slated to take place at 42West, the nightlife venue located within the OUT Hotel in Midtown Manhattan. Recent controversy surrounding the hotel's owners (involving a private meeting with anti-LGBT politician Ted Cruz) has prompted several events and concerts to cancel plans at the venue, among them Broadway Bares Solo Strips.

Jacob Langfelder, who produces the Broadway The Hardway series, will now present the evening at 11:30 PM at the Diamond Horseshoe. In the wake of the events, the evening's artists have also agreed to donate all proceeds from the concert to The Tyler Clementi Foundation, which was created to end bullying in schools, workplaces and faith communities – especially bullying targeted at LGBT individuals.

Previous ticket holders will be honored.

The evening will feature The Deafening and Sky-Pony, with special guests Grace McLean and Brendan MacLean with Emmy winner Lance Horne.

Sky-Pony is led by Worsham (Tony nominee and Drama Desk Award winner for A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder) along with her husband, Obie-winning songwriter Kyle Jarrow.

The Brooklyn-based band serves up "lush, danceable indie-pop with a healthy dose of theatrics — incorporating costumes, choreography, and projections into their high-energy live shows."

Hall's band The Deafening also features Burt Rock on lead guitar, Dylan Doyle on rhythm guitar, Tommy Mokas on bass and Mick Harrison "whipping back the skins." Lead singer Lena Hall won her Tony for Hedwig and the Angry Inch.
