Industry News Applications Open for Black Theatre United's 2023 Broadway Marketing Internship Program

Now in its second year, the paid internship program will hire 12 interns for the summer program.

Black Theatre United, in partnership with CUNY, has announced plans for the second year of its Broadway Marketing Internship Program. The eight-week paid internship will run June 26–August 18.

Designed to create opportunities for emerging Black artists in all areas of theatre, the program will hire 12 interns as full-time employees to work with one of Broadway's six leading marketing companies: Serino Coyne, AKA, RPM, Situation, TodayTix Group, and Spotco. In addition to the on-the-job marketing education, interns will receive mentorship support from the BTU Rise committee and many of BTU’s founding members.

All undergraduate students, regardless of race or ethnicity, are welcome to apply for placement. Housing will be provided for each intern at St. John’s University’s Queens campus in apartment style living, with a Metrocard included for subway and bus travel. Interns will be paid $15/hour for their full-time employment, and fringe benefits include complimentary tickets to Broadway shows, attractions, and other events.

Applications for the internship are due March 17. To apply, click here
