The band's about to get some new members. The Tony Award-winning Stereophonic announced that three of its original cast members—Juliana Canfield, Tom Pecinka, and Sarah Pidgeon—are departing the production at the John Golden Theatre September 29.
Amy Forsyth will join the show in Pidgeon's role of Diana, and Rebecca Naomi Jones will play Holly, Canfield's role. Current cast member Benjamin Anthony Anderson, who presently serves as an understudy, will take over for Pecinka in the role of Peter. The new cast members will begin their new gig October 1.
In addition, the producers of the show have announced an extension, reportedly the final one. The show will now play an additional week until January 12, 2025.
It was also announced that Emilie Kouatchou and Denver Milord will join the show as understudies.
The cast members remaining with the play are Tony winner Will Brill, Chris Stack, Eli Gelb, and Andrew R. Butler. The show's other understudies are Cornelius McMoyler, Sofia Deler, and Lily Ganser. Casting is by Alaine Alldaffer and Taylor Williams.
