Aisha Jackson (Once Upon a One More Time, Paradise Square) has partnered with Love & Light Productions to present a Black Excellence on Broadway concert February 26 at Chelsea Table + Stage in NYC.
The Inaugural Black History Month concert will recognize an array of performers, including LaChanze, Lillias White, Alex Newell, and André De Shields, for their contributions to Broadway History.
Performers will include Jackson, Saint Aubyn (Ain’t Too Proud), Rachel Simone Webb (& Juliet), Kayla Davion (TINA), Benjamin H. Moore (Harmony), Christian Mark Gibbs
(Camelot), Antoine L. Smith (MJ The Musical), DeMarius R. Copes (Some Like It Hot), and Angela Birchett (The Color Purple). They will be joined by 10-year-old television sensation Ayvah Johnson, who previously portrayed Young Anna Mae on the national tour of Tina.
