News Actress Says She Was Overpaid for Role in "Les Miserables" Film Here's a rare admission: Amanda Seyfried, who recently made her Off-Broadway debut opposite Tony nominee Thomas Sadoski in the world premiere of Neil LaBute's The Way We Get By, said she was overpaid for her work in the film version of the international hit musical Les Misérables.

Seyfried, whose screen credits also include "Mean Girls," "Dear John" and "Mamma Mia!," told The New York Post, "They paid me too much. I bought a house with that money! But making movies, two solid months of 14-hour days, can ruin a girl's relationship."
