The 2023-24 Off-Mirvish season is here. With a lineup of shows from Canada, Broadway, and London, the season will feature the Canadian premiere of Aaron Sorkin's adaptation of Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird, arriving direct from Broadway.

The Oscar winner's take on the classic story, directed by Tony winner Bartlett Sher, will play the CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre November 21-27. It will be followed in December by Isobel McArthur and Simon Harvey's Pride and Prejudice* (*sort of) at the CAA Theatre December 14-January 7, 2024. Arriving from London's West End where it won the Olivier Award for Best Comedy, this irreverent retelling of Jane Austen's classic romance novel features pop hits like "Young Hearts Run Free," "Will You Love Me Tomorrow," and "You're So Vain."

Set to be staged in 2024, the Crow's Theatre production of Uncle Vanya, originally by Anton Chekhov and adapted by Liisa Repo-Martell, will play CAA Theatre February 2-25 under the direction of Chris Abraham. As David Mirvish said in a statement, "From our own community, we bring back Crow’s Theatre’s highly acclaimed production of Uncle Vanya. This production made many 10 Best lists, and it stars a who’s who of Canadian theatre. Its run, although extended, was not long enough. It needs to be seen by many more people. This Off-Mirvish outing will allow that to happen."

Rounding out the season will be Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead starring screen favorites Billy Boyd and Dominic Monaghan who starred together as the comedic duo Merry and Pippin in the The Lord of the Rings film trilogy. They will star as the leading roles of Tom Stoppard's play in the Neptune Theatre production at CAA Theatre March 5-24, 2024 under the direction of Jeremy Webb.

CAA sponsors the Off-Mirvish series, which has now put its subscription on sale.
