Tony nominee Liz Callaway will star in TheatreSquared's upcoming production of Duncan Macmillan's Every Brilliant Thing. Performances are scheduled for January 16–February 10, 2019, at the Arkansas venue.
Every Brilliant Thing is an immersive experience, and the creative team will transform T2’s theatre space into an in-the-round, intimate setup.
“I love this play,” said Callaway in a statement. “From ‘people falling over’—number 7—to ‘cycling downhill’—number 997—it’s about recognizing how small, ordinary things can add up to something extraordinary, if you’ll just let them. When I traveled here for TheatreSquared’s gala last year, I really fell for Northwest Arkansas. This play will be a wonderful reunion.”
Olivier Award nominee Macmillan’s play, critically acclaimed in London, Edinburgh, and New York, was directed Off-Broadway by George Perrin. Jonny Donahoe starred in the solo show, which was filmed at the Barrow Street in 2015 for HBO.
The new Broadway show promises an immersive Kit Kat Club, which meant turning the proscenium into an in-the-round space.
The new single marks Williams' return to pop music after 15 years.
