Can You Spot the Disney Easter Eggs on the Set of Broadway’s Frozen? | Playbill

Broadway News Can You Spot the Disney Easter Eggs on the Set of Broadway’s Frozen? Tony-winning set designer Christopher Oram hid some Disney moments of yesteryear into Arendelle.

The Broadway adaptation of Frozen promises several of the beloved moments from the 2013 animated film (from “Let It Go” to talking snowmen), but savvy theatregoers with a keen eye might catch glimpses of other Disney favorites—if they know where to look.

The video above reveals a handful of Easter Eggs hidden in Tony winner Christopher Oram’s set. Etched into the proscenium are folkloric tableaus of various Disney titles, including some that have already made their way to the Broadway stage: The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, and Aladdin.

The musical, directed by Michael Grandage, continues its run at Broadway’s St. James Theatre, where it officially opened in March 2018. Original stars Caissie Levy and Patti Murin star as Elsa and Anna, with Ryann Redmond as Olaf, Noah J. Ricketts as Kristoff, and Joe Carroll as Hans.
