The cast of Waitress met the press to preview the new Sara Bareilles and Jessie Nelson musical, based on the film written by Adrienne Shelley. Jessie Mueller, Keala Settle, Eric Anderson, Christopher Fitzgerald and castmates ran through several emotional tunes, including “She Used to Be Mine,” “Soft Place to Land” and “Bad Idea.” Diane Paulus directs the production, which begins on Broadway March 25 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre.
