Scandalous: The Life and Trials of Aimee Semple McPherson stars two-time Tony nominee Carolee Carmello in the new musical based on the life of the forward-thinking early-20th-century evangelist whose successes — including becoming the first woman to obtain a radio broadcast license in the U.S and amassing a media empire — were often overshadowed by controversies such as an apparently fake kidnapping for publicity. David Armstrong directs the production with book and lyrics by Kathie Lee Gifford and music by David Friedman and David Pomeranz . To see Part One, click here.
