The History of Tears, a new take on a classic Goethe work, which features music from Tony Award winner Michael Cerveris — currently on Broadway as Sweeney Todd will undergo a workshop.
Estelle Parsons, Lisa Kron and James Urbaniak will be among the participants in a benefit for the theatre company 13P — the Obie-winning collective of 13 playwrights — entitled The Secret Lives of Ps at Joe's Pub on April 29 at 7 PM.
The world-premiere Broadway production of Martin McDonagh's A Behanding in Spokane — a play with a title dipped in McDonagh's characteristic dark comedy — opens March 4 after previews from Feb. 15 at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre.
