A mad dash through 10,000 years of history from a sex worker’s perspective, this solo show provides audiences with a handy grasp on the top layers of sex worker advocacy and identity, while underlining the gendered connections between sex work and military service. From Ishtar and Lilith to Victoria C. Woodhull and Dora Noyce, feminine power is on full display, as are the efforts that have been taken to snuff it out.
