Broadway
One Act

SYNOPSIS:

A captain's daughter loves a foremast hand, but is herself sought in marriage by the First Lord of the Admiralty, ascendant to that rank through convenient incompetence. Will the lass who loves a sailor marry below her station? Or is not all as it appears? In Gilbert and Sullivan's timeless operetta, one thing is certain: Love levels all ranks.

Production re-opened November 10, 1955 - November 12, 1955 and again from November 21, 1955 - November 24, 1955 at the Shubert Theatre
