Eric Muratalla (Manager) Obituary
G. Eric Muratalla, a company manager who worked on the Tony Award-winning shows Art and A Doll's House, died on Sept. 24, 2006. He was 35. Mr. Muratella was working as company manager of the Broadway-bound musical The Pirate Queen during a Chicago tryout at the time of his death.

Eric graduated from Brown University in 1993 with a BA in Theater Arts. Other Broadway shows he company managed included Company, The Rocky Horror Show, Leader of the Pack, Copenhagen, Tale of the Allergist’s Wife, The Full Monty (tour), Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, A Raisin in The Sun, Jackie Mason—Freshly Squeezed and Movin' Out.

Eric is survived by his parents George and Gilda Muratalla, of Whittier, California; his sisters Gisele and Gabrielle; grandmother Elisa Cope, nieces Brooke, Baylee, Ava, nephew Lex and his partner Charles Means.

Services were held in Whittier, CA. Funeral Mass was held Oct. 2 at 11:15 AM at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church, 7215 Newlin Ave. Whittier, CA 90602.

A celebration of Eric’s life will be held in New York City sometime in the coming months.
