DESCRIPTION

Shrek On Tour, LLC is seeking an experienced Head Audio/A1 to join the upcoming North American bus & truck Tour of Shrek The Musical. Theatrical touring experience is required. Reporting to the Head Carpenter and Company Manager, the Head Audio/A1 is responsible for all aspects of audio and video monitoring of the production. This includes overseeing the A2 and mixing the show on a nightly basis.

Responsibilities:

· Daily point of contact for local head audio techs.

· With the A2, fly, install and tune a PA when needed.

· Mix the show, which consists of 16 performers and a 6-piece band, as well as sound fx via Qlab.

· Ensure audio and video monitoring is working and properly set up for each venue.

· All other general audio needs for the tour.

Qualifications:

· Three or more years of experience in a Head Audio/A1 or similar role.

· One or more years of theatrical touring experience.

· Must hold a current passport and have no international travel restrictions.

· Ability to work independently and in a team environment and demonstrated sound judgment when issues must be escalated.

Details:

· Rate starts at $1800 per week plus per diem.

· This is a non-union and non-equity tour.

· Single hotel accommodations

· The company pays for all travel.

· Position to start 4/21 with travel to the tour

· Dates are currently being booked into 2025
