RESIDENT COMPANY 24-25

Thank you for your interest in our Resident Company at Suncoast Broadway! We are seeking friendly, outgoing, and personal candidates seeking professional credits, production experience, and a full season of work.

PERFORMING: As part of the Resident Company, you will perform in the below productions:

(with possible understudies / supporting roles / Assistant Stage Manager)

• Chicago! (Rehearsals Start: August 27, Opening: September 20, Closing: October 20, 2024)
• SunKicks Holiday Spectacular (Rehearsals Start: November 3, Opening: November 22, Closing: December 22, 2024)
• Jersey Boys (Rehearsals Start: December 27, Opening: January 10, Closing: February 23, 2025)
• Waitress (Rehearsals Start: February 16, Opening: March 7, Closing: April 6, 2025)
• My Fair Lady (Rehearsals Start: March 30, Opening: April 18, Closing: May 18, 2025)

SCHEDULE: Our standard show schedule, but not limited to (more during the holiday season), is:

• Thursday Matinee
• Friday Evening
• Saturday Matinee and Evening
• Sunday Matinee

FOOD AND BEVERAGE: Suncoast Broadway is a dinner theatre, and staff is all-hands-on-deck for all performances. As part of the Resident Company, you will rotate into a few different jobs:

• Serving (2-3 shifts/wk, - additional tipped income average $125/shift)
• Bussing (additional tipped income average $50/shift)
• Hosting/Guest Relations
• Bar Assistant (additional tipped income average $25/shift)

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: In addition to performing the Resident Company (RESCO) works approximately 16 hours/wk in other areas of the theatre. These hours are normally scheduled Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. A few examples are:

• Box Office/Administrative
• Marketing / Social Media
• Props/Costume Assistant
• Technical/Design Assistant
• Load In/Out
• ASM or PA (Assistant Stage Management or Production Assistant)

PAY: $400/Wk, plus tips from Food and Beverage service (average weekly compensation: $600-$800+)

HOUSING: Private bedroom/shared bathroom with a shared common living area, kitchen, and bathroom. Utilities, Free Laundry, internet, and Central A/C are included. Bed Linens and Towels are supplied by you. These houses are 15 minutes from the theatre.
