DESCRIPTION

Cornwell's Dinner Theatre, a part of Turkeyville USA, a 400-acre family resort and destination located in southwest Michigan, is seeking a female-presenting, Native American actor to play two roles in our summer season.

Wolf Moon Dance, in Escanaba in da Moonlight, is an Ojibwa woman married to Reuben Soady, a white man who is the only person in his family never to bag a buck. Escanaba is a comedy by Jeff Daniels about hunting culture and the life of "Yoopers," residents of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. This is our summer mainstage play, and runs Tues-Sat, June 27 - Aug 3

Lucy Pevensie, in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, is one of two roles in this dynamic TYA adaptation, where Lucy and her brother, Peter, recount their adventures in Narnia to their audience by using everyday items pulled from a box. This show rehearses after Escanaba opens and runs in rep, Sundays and Wednesdays, July 14-31.

Cornwell's Dinner Theatre is now in it's 37th season, offering a 6-show season between March and December. Artists live onsite in our company housing, a newly renovated, 1830's farmhouse. Artists have full access to all of the onsite amenities, including two swimming pools, exercise room, basketball and volleyball courts, and a generous discount in the restaurant and gift shop. Weekly salary, housing and travel provided.
