OPEN CALL AUDITIONS

Winner receives $1,000!

Calling all NYC-area performers! The 2025 Big Apple Talent Competition is looking for singers, dancers, musicians, and entertainers of all kinds to showcase their skills and compete for a $1,000 grand prize!

AUDITION DETAILS:

📍 Ripley Grier 520 8th Ave, Room 16M

📅 Date: Monday, March 17, 2025

🎭 What to Prepare: A short performance that highlights your talent. Singing, dancing, or playing an instrument is encouraged. No accompanist provided—please bring your own music/track. Bring a headshot and resume.

Salisha Thomas, Producer

TyNia Brandon, Producer

NOTE: We are seeking local NYC talent. Travel and accommodations will not be provided.

COMPETITION DETAILS:

📍 Venue: Chelsea Table & Stage

📅 Date: Monday, April 28, 2025, at 7:00 PM

⏳ Availability: Finalists must be available for the full day on April 28th for sound check and performance.

HOW IT WORKS:

•Ten finalists will be selected from auditions to perform at Chelsea Table & Stage.

•The winner will receive a $1,000 cash prize!

•A People’s Choice Award will also be given to the finalist with the most audience votes.

•Winner of the cash prize will be decided by three surprise celebrity judges.

•There will be no callbacks. Finalists will be chosen from this initial audition.

CAN’T MAKE THE IN-PERSON AUDITION?

Submit a video audition with a WeTransfer, Vimeo or YouTube link by Monday, March 17, 2025, to hello@thesalishashow.com with the following requirements:

•Slate your name and where you’re based.

•Film horizontally.

•Keep your video under 2 minutes.

• include your headshot and resume
