DESCRIPTION

Box Office Support Call Agents are primarily responsible for managing ticket sales for events and performances.

Agents interact directly with the public, providing customer service and handling financial transactions.

The duties and responsibilities of a Box Office Clerk include:

  • Selling tickets to customers over the phone or online
  • Answering customer inquiries about performance schedules, ticket prices, and availability
  • Processing ticket orders and reservations
  • Making sure all transactions are accurate
  • Handling ticket exchanges and refunds in accordance with company policies
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of seating charts and venue facilities
  • Assisting with promotional activities, such as distributing promotional materials or selling merchandise

Our ideal candidate is able to multi-task, has excellent communication skills and is comfortable handling credit cards and other forms of payment. Ticketing system experience like Tessitura or Audience View a plus.

The Box Office Agent is to ensure our company offers excellent customer service and meets all sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Sell tickets to customers
  • Answer customer queries about shows, timings, and prices
  • Process credit card or gift card transactions
  • Maintain records of all transactions
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Handle customer complaints or escalate them as necessary

Qualifications

  • Ticketing system experience like Tessitura or Audience View a plus.
  • Remote equipment a must: bare minimum:

    Instructions:



    *Macs and Chromebooks will not work with our other programs and therefore not an option when working with us.

    Operating Systems:

    Windows 10 or Windows 11


    Web Browsers:

    Chrome is Preferred

    Edge and Firefox will work as well

  • Previous work experience as a cashier or in a similar role
  • Good math skills
  • Ability to handle online transactions accurately
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong multitasking abilities
  • High school diploma; additional certification in Office Management is a plus
