DESCRIPTION

Florida Studio Theatre, a LORT D theatre located in Sarasota FL is accepting applications for Acting Apprentices to join us for the 2024-2025 season.

Seeking Mezzo/strong bright mix belt, good mover with comedic chops, under 5’6”. An interest in Theatre for Young Audiences is a plus, as guaranteed performance opportunities are in Children's Theatre Series. Application requires a video audition. Please prepare 1 comedic contemporary monologue and 1 musical theatre song that showcases belt/mix.

In addition to performing in FST’s Children’s Theatre the actor will audition to understudy Mainstage (AEA), Stage 3 (AEA) and Cabaret (AGVA) productions. In addition, develop well-rounded theatre experience by supporting our literary, production and front-of-house teams.

Compensation Package Includes:

• $230 weekly stipend.
