Manhattan Theatre Club has unveiled the remainder of its upcoming Off-Broadway season, joining the previously announced world premiere of Erika Sheffer's Vladimir.

In fact, the company has added more world premieres to the roster. First up will be Dakar 2000 by Rajiv Joseph (King James). May Adrales is directing the piece, a thriller about a Peace Corps volunteer who survives a mysterious car accident in Senegal on the eve of Y2K, only to then make a strange connection with an imposing State Department operative who shows up at the hospital to take control of the scene. Performances will begin in winter 2025 at New York City Center Stage I.

Next will be a new work from Prayer for the French Republic playwright Joshua Harmon. We Had a World centers on a man asked by his dying grandmother to write a "bitter and vitriolic" (according to press notes) play about their family. Trip Cullman will direct, after staging Harmon's Significant Other off and on Broadway. Previews will begin in 2025 at New York City Center.

Also previously announced and joining MTC's season is Dominique Morisseau's Bad Kreyol, a co-production with Signature Theatre that was announced earlier this year. Tiffany Nichole Greene is directing the work, about a first-generation Haitian American and her cousin who reunite to fulfill their grandmother's dying wish for them to reconnect.

Casting and creative teams for all three plays are to be announced.

On Broadway, the company is presenting Jonathan Spector's Eureka Day beginning November 25, with Stephen Sondheim's Old Friends, starring Bernadette Peters and Lea Salonga, transferring from London's West End in the spring.
