English National Opera's new production of The Merry Widow officially opened at the London Coliseum March 1. The new staging of Franz Lehár's comic operetta hails fro Max Webster, marking his ENO debut alongside conductor Kristiina Poska.
Leading the cast are Sarah Tynan as Hanna Glawari and Nathan Gunn as Count Danilo Danilowitsch, with Andrew Shore as Baron Mirko Zeta, Robert Murray as Camille de Rosillon, and Rhian Lois as Valencienne.
