Madison Square Garden got a little more fetch as the cast of Mean Girls, joined by the Youth Pride Chorus, gave a surprise performance of “I See Stars.”

Singing around a pink, Mean Girls-themed Sing for Hope piano, Erika Henningsen (who plays Cady in the Broadway musical), Reneé Rapp (Regina), Grey Henson (Damian), and members of the chorus performed the finale number for passersby.

The piano, painted with “It’s Not a Regular Piano. It’s a Cool Piano,” throws back to the oft-quoted line by Regina George’s mom in both the movie and the musical.

Mean Girls, with a book by the film's writer Tina Fey and a score by Jeff Richmond and Nell Benjamin, opened on Broadway in 2018 and continues its run at the August Wilson Theatre.

Watch the performance above, and check out other shows gathering around Playbill's own Pride-themed Sing for Hope piano located in Christopher Square.
