Theatre makers on Broadway and beyond have come together to voice their support and care for the students of Michigan State University after a mass shooting killed three students and injured five others February 13.
When Michigan State alum and A Beautiful Noise associate company manager Wes Haskell learned that many theatre students and faculty were in the midst of rehearsals when the shooting began, he was compelled to reach out to other theatre makers he knew to express their support in hopes of tempering the trauma that had been attached to the artistic process.
Members of the Broadway and/or national tour productions of Moulin Rouge!, & Juliet, A Beautiful Noise, Jesus Christ Superstar, Six, Jagged Little Pill, Beetlejuice, Wicked, Les Misérables, Hamilton, and more participated; view the video above to see their stories of survival and support.
