Tony-winning Broadway favorite Brian Stokes Mitchell will guest star on the May 7 episode of CBS' police procedural East New York, returning as Medical Examiner Ken Corley. See Mitchell investigate a murder on the streets of Brooklyn in an exclusive clip from the upcoming episode above.
The series follows Deputy Inspector Regina Haywood (Amanda Warren), newly promoted boss of East New York's 74th precinct. Set and shot in NYC, the procedural features a number of stage names among its cast, including Jimmy Smits, Tony winner Ruben Santiago-Hudson, Richard Kind, and Elizabeth Rodriguez, along with Mitchell.
The May 7 episode, titled "A Humbling Blues," airs May 7 at 9 PM ET/PT (check local listings).
