News Voice of Alan Rickman Heard in New Trailer for "Alice Through the Looking Glass" (Video) In the newest video trailer for "Alice Through the Looking Glass," which arrives in theatres May 27, the late Alan Rickman can be heard voicing the role of the Blue Caterpillar.

The two-time Tony-nominated actor says, "You've been gone too long, Alice. There are matters which might benefit from your attention...."

In Disney’s "Alice Through the Looking Glass," press notes state, "an all-new spectacular adventure featuring the unforgettable characters from Lewis Carroll’s beloved stories, Alice returns to the whimsical world of Underland and travels back in time to save the Mad Hatter."

Directed by James Bobin, the film is written by Linda Woolverton based on characters created by Carroll and produced by Joe Roth, Suzanne Todd, Jennifer Todd and Tim Burton with John G. Scotti serving as executive producer.

The cast includes Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway, Mia Wasikowska and Helena Bonham Carter along with the voices of Rickman, Stephen Fry, Michael Sheen and Timothy Spall.
