Readings and Workshops Vineyard Theatre Sets Spring Reading Series

The Off-Broadway company will present readings of five new works from their artists in residence.

Off-Broadway's Vineyard Theatre has announced the lineup for its Works In Progress: Fearlessly Made In New York!, reading series, being held this spring. The program will feature five works developed by the company's 2023-2024 artists in residence.

The series will kick off April 9 with No Nothing by T. Adamson, directed by Keenan Tyler Oliphant. Also in April, a.k. payne's Dwellers, directed by Josiah Davis, will be presented April 15, and Nazareth Hassan's Practice, also directed by Oliphant, will be presented April 29.

May will feature Mara Nelson-Greenberg's The Haunting of Camp Winona May 13, and Rudi Goblen's Rise and Beings, as directed by Lamar Perry, May 20.

The series will culminate on June 10 with Fearless Collaborations: Developing Theatrical Innovation. The stand-alone event will feature conversations between playwright Jordan Harrison, director David Cromer, and director and playwright Nazareth Hassan, discussing the future of technology and theatre. More panelists will be announced soon.
