Video: Watch Patti LuPone Dazzle With Les Misérables and Gypsy Classics at Carnegie Hall

Three-time Tony winner Patti LuPone, who will join Mia Farrow in The Roommate on Broadway later this month, returned to Carnegie Hall in April for her fifth solo concert.

Watch LuPone perform "I Dreamed a Dream" from her Olivier-winning performance as Fantine in the video above, and "Some People" from her Tony-winning turn in Gypsy in the video below.

Joseph Thalken was the music director and music supervisor for the April concert, titled A Life in Notes. Conceived and directed by Tony winner Scott Wittman, LuPone's latest act was written by Jeffrey Richman with string instrumentalist Brad Phillips.

In her new concert act, the stage and screen star performs an array of songs that are touchstones and reflections on her life growing up in America—as a young girl during the burgeoning rock-and-roll scene of the '50s, to coming of age in the politically and socially turbulent '60s, and eventually achieving success on all fronts.

Patti LuPone: A Life in Notes also featured lighting design by John Hastings and sound design by Mark Fiore. Richard Hester was production supervisor.

LuPone won Tonys for her performances in Evita, the 2008 revival of Gypsy, and the recent revival of Company; she won her first Olivier Award for her work in The Cradle Will Rock and Les Misérables, and her second for the 2019 London revival of Company.
