News Tony Winner and "Grey Gardens" Star Betty Buckley Kicks Off Solo Concerts in NY and PTown Tony-winning stage and screen star Betty Buckley will perform in a series of concert events on Long Island, NY, and Provincetown, MA. The Broadway vet will be performing songs from her album "Ghostlight" and material from her musical theatre catalogue.

Buckley will first perform Aug. 17 at the Gateway Playhouse, Performing Arts Center of Suffolk County. Tickets are available by visiting PACS.

An Evening with Betty Buckley will take place Sept. 3 and 4 at the Provincetown Schools Auditorium, for Peregrine Theatre Ensemble. For tickets, beginning at $75, visit Peregrine.

Buckley is joined by Christian Jacob for all three concerts.

Alongside Rachel York, Buckley is currently appearing in the Bay Street Theater's production of the award-winning musical Grey Gardens, which officially opened Aug. 8 in Sag Harbor. Buckley plays the role of Big Edie, the part originated on Broadway by Tony winner Mary Louise Wilson. Read more about the production here

A Theatre Hall of Fame inductee, Buckley won a Tony Award for playing Grizabella in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cats in 1983. She was also nominated for an Olivier Award for her performance as Norma in the London Sunset Boulevard. She has recorded 16 solo albums and received two Grammy nominations. Her screen credits include "Carrie" and Roman Polanski's "Frantic."
