Bedlam Theater Company's production of Tom Stoppard's Arcadia has extended its run Off-Broadway for the second time, its first extension announced prior to its first performance. Originally slated for a five-week run, the production will now play the West End Theatre through December 23.
Taking place between centuries, Arcadia explores truth and time, the disruptive influence of sex, and the an exploration of how attitudes change with the era.
The cast features Caroline Grogan, Deychen Volino-gyetsa, Arash Mokhtar, Shaun Taylor Corbett, Lisa Birnbaum, Randolph Curtis Rand, Mike Labbadia, Alan Altschuler, Zuzanna Szadkowski, Devin Vega, Elan Zafir, and Jamie Smithson.
The run begins with a "Pay What You Can" performance October 27 with a minimum of $20 per ticket. The run will also feature $10 rush tickets for students, veterans, and current service members.
Stoppard recently became the most-winning playwright in Tony history with his 2023 win for Leopoldstadt.
