Performances begin February 22 at the Hudson Valley, New York venue.

Core Theatre Group (CTG) has announced that The Voice Season 16 winner Maelyn Jarmon will star as Cathy in Jason Robert Brown's The Last Five Years, opposite Clay Singer (The Band's Visit) as Jamie. The production will run February 22-February 25, 2024 at The Drowned Lands in Warwick, New York.

The musical follows a five-year, tumultuous relationship between upcoming novelist Jamie Wellerstein and aspiring actress Cathy Hiatt. Jessica McRoberts directs, with music direction by Paul Peglar.

CTG launched their programming in the Hudson Valley area earlier this year with a cabaret fundraiser, followed by a sold-out inaugural production of The Rocky Horror Show in October. In December, CTG presented That Holiday Feeling, starring Harris M Turner and Mara Davi.

CTG’s Artistic Advisory Council includes Craig Carnelia, Paige Davis, Ben Folds, Christopher Gatelli, Alex Lacamoire, Norm Lewis, Molly Ringwald, Stephen Oremus, Seth Rudetsky, and Maury Yeston.
