News The Clowns Are Back: Old Hats Will Return to Signature Theatre Next Year Following an extended, sold-out run in 2013, Bill Irwin and David Shiner will return to Off-Broadway's Signature Theatre with their family-friendly show Old Hats, for a limited engagement beginning Jan. 26, 2016.

With an official opening night slated for Feb. 18, tickets are now on sale by calling (212) 244-7529 or visiting SignatureTheatre.org.

The return of Old Hats reunites Irwin and Shiner with original director Tina Landau and features new music and lyrics by Shaina Taub. The show combines magic, slapstick, music, technology and movement. Performances will run through March 3.

The design team includes G.W. Mercier (scenic and costume design), Scott Zielinski (lighting design), John Gromada (sound design) and Wendall K. Harrington (projection design). David H. Lurie is the production stage manager. Casting is by Telsey + Company, Will Cantler, CSA.
