The Collegiate Chorale is helmed by Tony Award-winning conductor Ted Sperling. In addition to Not The Messiah, the rest of the season will include Handel’s Susanna with Isabel Leonard, Daniela Mack, Javier Abreu and Zachary James at Town Hall in February and Kurt Weill’s The Road of Promise with Anthony Dean Griffey, Danny Burstein, Mark Delavan and Philip Cutlip at Carnegie Hall in May.
The group is committed to doing operas in concert, with a focus on large scale operas like The Grapes of Wrath, and will include workshops of two new operas in their current season.
They will also sing Verdi’s Requieum at Avery Fisher Hall.
