The lineup of performers has been announced for Abingdon Theatre Company's concert, The Music of Divided. The presentation of the new musical by Kristen Rosenfeld with book and lyrics by Luanne Rosenfeld will be held January 31 at Chelsea Table and Stage.
Divided follows the journey of two friends across decades, miles, and a country divided by the Civil War. Refusing to be defined by society's constraints, they strive for personal freedom amidst a backdrop of hatred, lies, and loss. Jim Cooney will direct the concert presentation, with Robbie Cowan providing musical direction.
The evening will feature performances by Talia Suskauer (Wicked), Kimberly Marable (Hadestown), Carrie St. Louis (Titanique), Rashidra Scott (Company), Mikaela Bennett, Alyssa Wray, Robert Cuccioli, Jason Forbach (Into the Woods), Bart Shatto (War Paint), Curtis Wiley (Ain’t Too Proud), and Wyatt McManus.
