Also in the cast are Liam Brennan and Peter Hamilton Dyer, reprising their 2002 roles as Orsino and Feste, respectively, with Colin Hurley to play Sir Toby Belch. Further casting to be announced shortly.

The production is directed by Tim Carroll, designed by Jenny Tiramani with music by Claire van Kampen – the creative team behind the original 2002 version of Twelfth Night, whose approach to staging will employ techniques used in Shakespeare’s day to re-create clothing, music and dance.

Fry, who makes his Globe debut, was last seen briefly on the London stage in Simon Gray's Cell Mates, which he notoriously walked out of immediately after it opened in 1995. His screen credits include "Sherlock Holmes II," "The Life and Death of Peter Sellers", "Gosford Park," "Peter's Friends" and "Wilde." His portrayal of Oscar Wilde in the latter earned him a Golden Globe Best Actor nomination. His many television drama and comedy credits include the BBC's recent adaptation of "The Borrowers," "The Bleak Old Shop of Stuff," "Kingdom," "Jeeves and Wooster," "Blackadder" and several series of "A Bit of Fry and Laurie."
