News Stars Take You Back to Epic 1963-64 Season in "The Great Parade" Performer and interviewer Richard Skipper will host theatre columnist and author Peter Filichia Feb. 13 at the American Popular Song Society in Manhattan. They will discuss Filichia's book, "The Great Parade: The 1963-64 Broadway Season," and introduce performances of some of the songs created that year.

Filichia's book charts the epic season that produced Hello, Dolly!; Funny Girl; Barefoot in the Park; One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest; The Subject Was Roses; and many other major plays and musicals. The event is scheduled to include performances by Klea Blackhurst, Steven Brinberg, Jim Brochu, Aleka Emerson, Diane Findlay, Oleg Frish, Danny Gardner, Anita Gillette, Leah Horowitz, Michael Kostroff, Sally Mayes, Sean McDermott, Maureen McNamara, Barbara Minkus, Sarah Rice, Danielle Erin Rhodes, Steve Ross and Camille Saviola, with Michael Lavine on piano.

The event, held at 322 W. 48th Street in Manhattan, will be followed by a Q&A session and a book signing.
