News Simon Stephens Interviews Enda Walsh in First of Podcast Interview Series The 12-part series will include interviews with David Hare, Dennis Kelly, and more.

Playwright Simon Stephens, currently represented on Broadway by Manhattan Theatre Club's production of his play Heisenberg at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre, has launched a 12-part podcast series of interviews that he has conducted with fellow playwrights. It is produced by London's Royal Court Theatre.

The first episode has Stephens talking to Enda Walsh (currently represented in London by his book for David Bowie’s Lazarus and previously in the West End and on Broadway with Once) and is available to listen to now at

Future episodes, which go live every Friday, will feature playwrights April De Angelis (released December 16), Dennis Kelly & Joe Penhall (December 23), Polly Stenham (December 30), David Hare (January 6), Rachel De-lahay (January 13, 2017), Alistair McDowall (January 20), Lucy Prebble (January 27), Anthony Neilson (February 3), Anya Reiss (February 10), Robert Holman (February 17), and Tanika Gupta (February 24).
